Hi all, sorry I’ve not been around, but I had a wee accident,





When the good weather started last month, I decided it was a good time to start re-pointing the stonework on the front of my house, really bad idea. On day two I was increasingly bored and feeling very lazy, so instead of going back down to ground level and moving the ladder, I decided I could reach more and save time by stretching out and balancing on the edge of the rungs.


Next thing the ladder goes straight over and I wind up wrenching my left shoulder as I try to hang on for dear life. Didn’t work and the ladder and I toppled right over, and I managed to land on my right hand, sort of squishing most of the bones. Very ouch and according to my neighbour very funny..


Four broken ribs, one dislocated shoulder and a heavily casted hand later, and I’m nearly back to normal. I’ve been bored stupid, and on some very good painkillers, but I miss my normal life. I have been on-line reading, I could just about move the mouse, but typing has been a no-no.


This little message is courtesy of some semi-decent voice recognition software I got from a friend who was sick of my whining. Sew please excuse any spelling errors as it does have a tendency to guess-timate some odd words from time to time, when I don’t talk clearly and I’m not really up to correcting stuff yet.


All being well the casts come off this week and I should get back to normal after a little phisio, it’s been a real pain to deal with.


Made one decision easier though, my beloved wreck is now up for sail, as I
can’t take any more DIY, I want I nice modern house, where everything works. Now I just need some mug to buy this one.


I have bean bookmarking stuff, that I’ve read and will try to go back and leave comments once I can type properly again, but inevitably I’ll miss some, so if I usually leave feedback for you I apologise if I miss anything, just assume I loved your stories as much as I usually do.
