50bookchallenge. I feel vaguely guilty that I don’t read as much as I used to, I know that part of it’s time related, if I’m here reading online, then I’m not reading an actual book. But it’s also I think because I like the immediacy of fanfic, the interactions you can have with a writer. Also I don’t have the patience to wade through mediocre novels anymore, I guess my tastes have become a little more discriminating. Anyway it’s been a busy week with work, so I’m off to catch up on the fic I’ve missed.

The Assignment:
Pair up the major players in Sunnydale (Buffy, Willow, Xander, Giles, Cordelia, Angel, and Spike) with the person you believe in your heart to be their soul mate. You can pair them with each other, other characters from BtVS or AtS or you can say 'unknown' if it's no one we've met in the Buffyverse. You can only have couples - no threesomes or second choices - however, if you think the best person for Giles is Cordelia, but if you think the best person for Cordelia is Spike, that's okay.
Post these instructions in your own journal, along with your list. Then tag three people to do it next.

Summary :- This came from a couple of plot bunnies/challenges I saw awhile back. I’m sorry I don’t remember where, but thanks for the ideas.
1) Tabula Rasa wasn’t the first time Willow cast memory spells on Xander, and they all broke with the crystal.
2) Xander has left Sunnydale at some previous point and they had no idea where he’d gone. Willow calls AI for help and Xander answers the phone.
Spoilers ~ Up to Tabula Rasa BTVS and Ats Season 3 up to Billy, Darla never comes back and there is no Connor, mainly ‘cos he just doesn’t fit this story.

It's been a busy week, lots of work and messy builders. But i did manage to write almost 100 pages. Unfortunately it was bitty stuff, later chapters from some wips and a big chunk of my story for spring_with_xan.
I'm just feeling a little *off*, like i should be doing something, or changing something. 10 years ago i'd have probably run out and got a new tattoo or piercing, but i think i've grown out of that. I don't need new holes or pretties any more. I could cut my hair, but i've just spent 3 years growing it down to my waist and i'm not sure i want to give it up yet.
I know this isn't my usual itch to go travelling, but i do feel sort of *restless* like i need to do something new. Maybe i'll do a bit of redecorating, or rip the garden apart. I just have to find the right *thing* to get my mind settled, i might even think about moving again.
If you’re a writer or an artist with a little free time and are feeling generous; then there’s still time to pop over to Sweet Charity and volunteer your skills. Or check out the Charity Ho’s who have already put themselves up for auction.
Anyway i had no time to read at all last week, so i'm off to catch up with all my favourite wips.
